A video tutorial series I have been publishing online shows the entire development of a vehicle mod from start to finish!

While developing my 2004 Mini Cooper S mod for Cyberpunk 2077, I noticed a lack of resources on how many parts of vehicle creation work. Due to this, I created a written guide which acts as a walk through with text and images to show the entire process. It’s proven to be very helpful to many in the modding community, and there has been a notable increase in vehicle mods since its release! The written guide started as a shared document online, but it’s since moved to the community’s modding wiki, which hosts almost all known information about modding Cyberpunk 2077. Something I never anticipated was just how many people would use it. I’ve since had many people DM me asking for assistance with their projects, which also helps me refine the guide further.

Regardless of the updates made, the written guide has been noted as being too technical for text-based guides, or lacking visual aids to complete certain actions. To help with this I’ve began work on a Youtube tutorial series that visually shows the entire process. The video format has so far had a great reception, as showing a video example really helps viewers to see where buttons are located on the screen, best layouts, etc.

While also useful for others, it’s been an enjoyable skill for me to work on. I’ve advanced my video editing skills a lot, and I’m continuing to get better and more efficient with the process. As well I’ve also started streaming some of the development on websites like Twitch, which helps me with quick feedback and makes recording easier as well. The biggest mistake I’ve made so far is starting too many projects! I’ve got three separate editing projects in progress, and thus my time ends up split too many ways.
